Position in this function should be able to manage heavy departmental phone traffic. Schedules various sleep medicine studies with external providers, coordinates DME orders and delivery to patients.  Maintains sleep study database and medical record files of sleep medicine patients.  Liaison between patient, Pulmonary department and physicians.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma 
  • 1+ years of Sleep Medicine or Pulmonary experience. Medical terminology
  • Familiarity with compliance software and peripheral equipment
  • 10-key by touch ability
  • Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven critical thinking skills to enable trouble shooting and decision making


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of college education
  • Familiar with sleep therapy and durable medical equipment  
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills including database management
  • Exhibits Sleep Medicine knowledge base and developed computer skills and capability to assist with build and implementation of Pulmonary EMR
  • Proven solid organizational skills
  • Proven managerial / supervisory abilities necessary for overseeing other staff assigned to the sleep department


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
