Our busy restaurant is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Cook & Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff with food preparation and ensuring that our order counter runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and pasta

- Operate the restaurant register, including processing payments and providing excellent customer service

- Responsible for taking customer orders accurately and entering them into the POS system

- Maintain a clean and organized area

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure a smooth operation

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills for operating the register

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
