Position Title: Mortgage Servicing Representative 1

Business Unit: Mortgage Administration

Reports to: Supervisor of Mortgage Servicing

Position Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for performing a variety of duties under the general guidance of the Manager of Loan Servicing in support of the Mortgage Servicing area performing select duties in accordance with the corporation's policies and procedures and all US state and federal laws and regulations wherein the company operates.

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensures timely receipt and boarding of funded mortgage loans.  

Responsible for daily incoming and outgoing mail including distribution throughout the department.

Prepares payoff statements and verifications of mortgage and ensures accurate posting of payoff funds and fee distribution.

Processes force placed insurance assessments and cancellations. 

Monitors and receives hazard insurance policies and ensures that policy information is accurate and that it meets regulatory and investor requirements.  Prepares and posts disbursement of premiums.

Assist with tax payments as required including but not limited to sorting, filing and scanning of tax bills.

Ensures that all regulatory and compliance requirements are met including credit reporting, T&I disclosures, PMI disclosures, ARM disclosures and IRS reporting.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
