Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the sales team, supporting them in processing client applications.
  • Manage cases between carriers and agents to ensure all underwriting requirements are fulfilled. This involves meticulously reviewing client applications to confirm that they are complete for the underwriting process.
  • Propose improvements to processes and technology.
  • Perform additional duties related to the New Business Department as assigned by the immediate manager.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in office administration is required.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a strong asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities effectively.
  • Effective problem-solving and investigative skills.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, proactive, with a keen sense of ownership and initiative.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Approachable and professional in delivering suboptimal information via in-person, phone, and email interactions.
  • Strong computer skills with a capacity to learn new systems.

  • Must reside and be authorized to work in the United States.
