Purpose of this position:

Children’s Service Center is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well independently and collectively as a treatment team member. If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to learn, the Outpatient Clinician- School Based position is right for you. Join our team of employees to experience the positivity of helping change young people’s lives in an Emotional Support Classroom setting (non ES setting schedule permitting). This team member will be fully trained in daily activities including providing services to youth in Wayne Highlands School District.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Professional casework services 
  • Provide Individual, family and group therapy to students in Emotional Support Classrooms
  • Knowledge of professional casework principles, practices, and methodology
  • Knowledge of individual and group dynamics

Welcome to Children’s Service Center! Our integrated mental health and primary care programs support people of all ages. Opened as the Home for Friendless Children in 1862, Children’s Service Center (together with its adult care affiliate, Robinson Counseling Center and the Conyngham Primary Health Care Center) serves nearly 15,000 people annually throughout Northeastern and North Central Pennsylvania. As a regional leader in mental health services for children, adults and families, CSC and RCC operate 26 programs, while serving numerous communities and school districts across 40 counties in Pennsylvania. More than 550 professionals and support staff provide assessment, counseling and crisis services, substance use disorder treatment and support, and primary care that includes prevention and screenings, sick care, and chronic disease management for people of all ages.
