Biomed Technician I – HTM Biomed

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
Work hours: Full Time Days Monday through Friday (7:30am-4:00pm) for 40 hrs/week.

Here’s What You Need
· H.S. Diploma or Equivalent (Required) And
· Associate's Degree Associates of applied science, information technology management, or related field. 2 Years Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. (Required) Or
· Successful completion of military BMET training. (Required)
· No experience required with an Associate's degree or BMET. (Preferred)
· Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Upon Hire (Required) And
· Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES), or Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES). Upon Hire (Preferred)
· Other Specialized formal training certificate Upon Hire (Preferred)
What You Will Do
· Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on general biomedical equipment
· Repair, install, and calibrate general biomedical equipment
· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database to include the inventory, performance assurance (PA) schedules, nomenclature, and service history
· Build and maintain customer relationships
· Perform periodic inspections of current inventory status
· Verify the completion of security analysis for new customer equipment
· Perform Incoming Inspections (II) to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of medical devices, including trial and evaluation, rental, and loaner equipment in addition to permanently assigned equipment inventory
