Compensation Data

The pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Operator, you’ll

  • Operate and monitor production equipment across multiple areas (blending, fermentation, packaging)
  • Support wet blending, packaging, liquid receiving, fermentation, and other job areas as assigned
  • Train production operators in new and existing practices; assist team leaders in onboarding new joiners
  • Float between positions and roles throughout your shift (variety in your day)
  • Use computer systems (FIX operator interface, Inelex, SAP, Excel) to track production and select recipes, cycles, and chemicals
  • Follow established procedures and run setpoints to achieve QC-approved products with optimal yields at lowest costs
  • Wash and clean equipment per sanitation manual; follow GMP program and rules
  • Operate forklift and aerial lifts; may be certified as a forklift trainer
  • Assist other production operators as needed

What You'll Need To Be Successful

What you'll need to be successful and safe

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum one year of experience in food or beverage manufacturing preferred
  • Experience operating a liquid pasteurizer, HTST, and HDMIs preferred
  • Good arithmetic, reading, and writing skills required
  • Ability to be fully trained in Fermentation, Wet Blending, Liquid Receiving, and Spray Drying positions within one year
  • Ability to work alone and in close cooperation with production personnel
  • Capable of working through complex problems alone or with others to provide logical solutions

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk and stand regularly; climb stairs and ladders
  • Reach, bend/stoop, crouch, squat, push/pull, and manipulate frequently
  • Frequently lift product up to 50 pounds from various positions
  • Talking, hearing, vision, reading, and writing required
  • Work primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks
  • Exposure to humidity, dust, fumes, noise, and chemical agents; hearing protection required
  • Floor surfaces may be wet; temperature varies by season and task
  • Exposure to confined spaces including tank entry
