The Position:

We're looking for passionate Wound Care Nurse (RN), who is responsible for the oversight of the Skin Integrity program in the center and  supervision of implementation of the program on the nursing units. Additional duties include:

  • Implements treatments and interventions as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures. Notifies physician of condition of wounds, changes and needed treatment changes
  • Maintains appropriate inventory of skin and wound care supplies. Ensures accuracy and completion of wound care documentation.   Performs and records all measurements
  • Administers treatments as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures.  Ensures accuracy and completion of TAR.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience required.
  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii required. 
  • Wound care certification preferred but will train
