Position Description: Industrial Engineer - Internship 

The Industrial Engineering Intern will support process improvement, efficiency analysis, and operational optimization efforts. This role provides hands-on experience in applying engineering principles to real-world business operations, focusing on productivity, cost reduction, and workflow optimization.

Requirements

Primary Duties:

· Analyze current processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies 

· Assist in time studies, data collection, and performance analysis 

· Support continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) 

· Develop process maps, standard operating procedures, and reports 

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, supply chain, quality) 

· Use data to recommend actionable improvements 

· Participating in project meetings and present findings

Education:

· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related field 

Desired Experience & Skills: 

· Lean principles (waste reduction, 5S, continuous improvement) 

· Six Sigma basics (DMAIC concepts) 

· Time studies and productivity analysis (even classroom exposure is fine) 

· Understanding of workflow optimization
