Description

The Production Packager I works in a team setting, packaging organic and non-organic coffee using various tools and equipment, following safety procedures and quality guidelines, performing basic investigation of issues, and troubleshooting on equipment, and watching for any quality control issues and acting to correct them.

This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor.

Essential Duties:

  • Operate various weigh and fill machines, labeling, and weighing out and grinding precise amount of product based on orders with consistent speed and accuracy.
  • Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.
  • Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing and taping.
  • Operate machinery correctly and maintain with care.
  • Report any machinery issues to Production Supervisor.
  • Work cooperatively with production team to meet quotas and goals.
  • Maintain and clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
  • Participate in on-the-job training for warehouse and manufacturing processes, policies and procedures, safety regulations, etc. as defined by Production Supervisor and Production Manager.
  • Attend all safety and production meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

$19.13 per hour + DOE

Schedule:

Weekend Shift | Friday – Monday

7:00 am – 5:30 pm
