We have the latest in automation and technology in the United States, and are looking for a customer-oriented Sorting Deck Operator.

Why This Role Matters:

We are seeking a Sorting Deck Operator to join our team at Bluewater Linen, a state-of-the-art hospitality linen facility serving hotels and resorts across New Mexico. In this role, you will support the accuracy, quality, and flow of our production process by sorting, staging, and preparing hotel linens using automated equipment. Your work directly ensures the timely and professional delivery of high-quality linens to our hospitality partners, contributing to the guest experience at leading hotels throughout the state.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate the sort station to separate incoming hotel linens by type.
• Break down linen bundles from carts and load them onto the conveyor line.
• Identify customer changes and correctly categorize and input information into the computer system.
• Divide linens on the sort deck and place them into the appropriate bins.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including keeping floors dry using a vacuum.
• Operate additional workstations as assigned by the Floor Supervisor.
• Clean all staging areas daily to ensure a sanitary, organized, and presentable workspace.
• Use appropriate PPE
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong team-player mentality with effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.
• Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and maintaining product quality standards.
• Ability to stand for eight hours or more and perform frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 50+ pounds and move carts throughout the facility.
• Willingness to work in an industrial laundry environment.
• Ability to work safely around large machinery, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Required use of PPE and compliance with all safety protocols.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on production needs.
