Job Description

💫 Life Enrichment Assistant – Create Joy. Share Kindness. Spark Connection.
Location: Epworth Villa
Reports To: Life Enrichment Coordinator

Starting at $16 per hour, depending on experience.

Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

🌈 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Plan and lead engaging activities — Facilitate programs such as music, crafts, games, and themed events that support residents’ cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Enhance daily experiences — Create meaningful moments through celebrations, special events, and purposeful interactions.
  • Provide compassionate support — Build strong relationships by offering companionship, encouragement, and assistance with daily routines as needed.
  • Coordinate programming — Assist with developing monthly activity calendars, preparing materials, decorating spaces, and ensuring activities run smoothly.
  • Foster a welcoming environment — Help new residents feel comfortable and supported while promoting a sense of belonging for all.
  • Observe and communicate — Monitor residents’ well-being and promptly report any changes in health or mood to the care team.
  • Collaborate with others — Work closely with team members, families, and volunteers to create a positive and engaging community environment.
