About Lola’s Taco Bar

Lola’s Taco Bar is a fast-casual taco shop built around fresh food, strong hospitality, and good energy. We serve tacos, burritos, bowls, margaritas, aguas frescas, and house-made sides in an environment that is fast-paced, team-driven, and genuinely welcoming.

We are looking for hardworking, dependable team members who take pride in creating great guest experiences while working efficiently as part of a team.

This is not just a cashier position. Team Members are trained across multiple stations and play a major role in both hospitality and food execution.

Position Overview

Team Members are responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service while preparing food and beverages to Lola’s standards. This role includes guest interaction, cashier responsibilities, beverage preparation, food assembly, cleanliness, and supporting overall restaurant operations.

Ideal candidates are positive, reliable, coachable, and able to stay calm and organized during busy rushes.

Responsibilities

Guest Service + Cashier

• Greet guests with friendly and energetic hospitality 
• Guide guests through the menu and answer questions 
• Accurately ring in orders through the POS system 
• Handle cash and credit card transactions properly 
• Maintain speed and accuracy during busy periods 
• Support loyalty program signups and promotions 

Taco, Burrito + Bowl Building

• Assemble tacos, burritos, bowls, nachos, and sides to recipe standards 
• Maintain proper portioning and presentation 
• Work efficiently while maintaining quality 
• Restock line ingredients throughout service 
• Ensure all stations stay clean, stocked, and organized 
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times 

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare aguas frescas, frozen beverages and margaritas.
• Refill and maintain beverage stations 
• Support beverage batching and prep as needed 
• Maintain cleanliness of beverage equipment and surrounding areas 

Team Support + Restaurant Operations

• Assist with opening and closing duties 
• Complete assigned cleaning and side work 
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and front of house team members 
• Help maintain a positive and respectful work environment 
• Jump into different stations as needed during service 

Requirements

Qualifications

• Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required 
• Strong work ethic and reliability 
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment 
• Positive attitude and team mentality 
• Comfortable standing for extended periods 
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds 
• Weekend and evening availability preferred
