As a Material Handler you will play a vital role in the production in the handling of plastic resins, colorants, and all materials that are used in the manufacturing of finished goods. 

  • Monitor an adequate inventory of raw materials and resin to run product.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels of all materials in well-organized, designated storage areas. 
  • Replenish items and materials needed by operators. 
  • Remove finished product from production areas and package as required. 
  • Aid Relief Operators by covering during breaks and/or work as an operator if necessary. 
  • Perform daily housekeeping. 
  • Perform other diversified tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.


Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, SKILLS, ETC.): 

  • Must be able to calculate figures accurately, pass forklift written and driving test. 
  • SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Previous related work experience operating forklifts, hand trucks, and hopper loaders is preferred. Knowledge of plastic resins, colorants materials, corrugated cartons, and all parts used in manufacturing finished goods is preferred.
