Job Description
Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center known to be the largest healthcare provider in the greater Philadelphia area. With joint-commission accredited Health Centers providing compassionate and affordable healthcare services throughout Philadelphia regardless of an individual’s ability to pay.
We are presently seeking a Training Associate to work a Hybrid work schedule (Remote and in-person required). Additional Requirements include:
BA/BS Degree in related field, preferred; 1-2 years of experience in a professional office or healthcare setting required; 1-2 years of experience in customer service, office management, administrative support, professional communications, or sales required; Experience making presentations, delivering classroom training and/or facilitating meetings strongly preferred; Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required; Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels in the organization; Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required; Knowledge of Publisher and Adobe preferred; Ability to travel to multiple health care facilities as needed, required Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays, required.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Conduct surveys and/or interviews to identify network-wide training needs.
• Deliver instructor-led and on-line training programs to employees.
• Use learning technologies to develop, assign, and track on-line learning activities.
• Evaluate learner experience using course evaluations and surveys.
• Promote GPHA's vision and mission to staff, patients and the public at large.
• Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent patient, client and employee information.
