Description

We Are Looking For

A Pharmacy Technician who will play a personal role within our community to ensure that our patients receive the medication and care that they need. This position will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to provide exceptional customer service while assisting patients and filling prescriptions which includes locating, dispensing, packaging, and labeling prescribed medication for patients. 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of the fulfillment process, including processing incoming prescriptions (via escribe, fax, phone-in, etc.), hand counting, labeling, managing robot fills, and bubble packing
  • Develop relationships with patients and suggest additional Sona services that may be beneficial
  • Answer incoming phone calls and communicate heavily with other team members, patient’s, caregivers, community partners, and provider offices 
  • Provide hospitality to customers by assisting them with questions and offering Pharmacist consultations when appropriate
  • Resolve issues when they arise (i.e. patient questions, insurance rejections, etc.)

  • CPhT license is a plus but not required
