Job Description

Description

· Answers appointment scheduling line and schedules patient appointments in a timely manner per established protocols.

· Ensures accuracy of data input at time of scheduling.

· Coordinates appointments with tech and physician as necessary.

· Responds to patient questions and needs by editing, canceling, and rescheduling appointments as necessary.

· Create telephone encounters for patient questions and assigns to appropriate staff members

· Rescheduling appointments for assigned providers

· Maintains a working knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance plans, workers’ compensation, etc.

· Other Duties as assigned

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of six months in a physician office setting performing check-in functions.
