Program Planning Coordinator – West Pak Avocado, Inc.

West Pak Avocado is looking for a dynamic individual to fill our Program Planning Coordinator position.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities 

The Program Planning Coordinator is responsible for working with several key departments to support high-level planning and ensure customer demands are met. Will closely monitor sales orders to ensure smooth execution on order fulfillment and provide support in managing on-hand inventory, allocating product, and coordinating order shipments based on product availability/readiness. Provide direction to our warehouse teams on order picking/ processing, and channel information to appropriate departments. 

• Minimizing waste by ensuring proper FIFO rotation through product allocation 
• Identifying product age risks/concerns on low-demand SKUs 
• Assist in positioning and managing inventory levels in our distribution centers based on customer demands, with enough lead time 
• Coordinate with our warehouse teams to resolve any inventory discrepancies 
• Assist in managing inventory levels to avoid overproduction of SKUS that can result in waste and excessive labor costs
• Identify inventory risks, including excess/shortages, on a 0–10-day window 
• Communicating any shortages of product and providing the appropriate departments with solutions to minimize the disruption of sales order fulfillment or financial loss 
• Assist in allocating purchased product to planned customers based on direction from Supply Chain/Sales
• Assist in planning, prioritizing, and communicating production plans to our warehouse teams/production leaders 
• Assist in coordinating customer demand changes with Sales and Supply Chain
• Provide direction to our warehouse teams on order picking and processing to ensure smooth order fulfillment teams include: Shipping/Just Ripe/Quality Control/ Production teams
• Coordinate order pick-up/ delivery times with carriers and our logistics team based on product readiness/availability
• Coordinating inbounds and outbounds with carriers and our logistics teams based on the Distribution Center’s maximum capacities 
• Work with our Quality Control teams to address any issues/ concerns with product specifications prior to order shipment and communicate with our Sales team. 

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is preferred 
• Minimum 1 year of planning experience preferred
• Famous experience, a plus
