SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for food service production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

 

·        Performs assembly of product into proper containers

·        Completes pre-assembly work of stocking assembly lines, setting up containers, ensure that all product available and in proper condition.

·        Applies labeling according to menus and assembles materials into pre-determined packages.

·        Follows instructions to complete assembly assignments.

·        Ensure that all procedures are followed for safe food handling

·        Perform all other duties as assigned.

* Ensure that all procedures are followed for safe food handling
* Perform all other duties as assigned.   High school diploma
* Able to read and write English and perform duties as prescribed
* Basic English Reading and Writing Skills
* Must be prepared to work in extreme environment through most of work day * Ability to stand most of work day, moving side to side, using arms to lift and move

* Be standing on feet majority of the workday in addition to walking back and forth.
* Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Lifting while turning side to side is sometimes necessary.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
* Position sometimes requires extended hours including evenings and/or weekends, travel to multiple work sites and occasional out-of-state travel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* The work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, specifically the packing and warehousing areas
* Standing most of the work day is required.
* Work requires movement in and out of store rooms, near heavy machinery and freezers
* Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.
* The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
