Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate server who can work in a fast-paced environment with a pleasing personality and the ability to work in a team for our Dietary Department
Assist in food preparation and serving meals to residents.
Ensure that all dietary restrictions are followed according to residents' needs.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
Set up dining areas before meals and clean up after meals.
Support the dietary team in inventory management and ordering supplies.
Document and monitor food intake for residents as needed.
Communicate effectively with residents to determine their food preferences and comfort levels.
Assist in training new dietary staff members as necessary.
Qualification:
Previous experience as a Dietary Aide/Kitchen Aide or Cook is a preferred
Previous experience working in a healthcare or hospitality setting as a dietary aide/kitchen, or cook is a plus
Interest in working with the geriatric population
Food Handler Certification
Ability to prepare meals in accordance with specific dietary restrictions or special needs
Excellent multitasking and time management skills
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
