Applicants will be placed into the appropriate job title and salary based on their individual experience and education. The Medical Lab Technician's salary starts at $23.44/hour.
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and timely specimen collection, processing, and analysis, including phlebotomy as needed.
Conduct moderate complexity testing independently, and high complexity testing under supervision.
Recognize and respond to critical or abnormal results, instrument issues, and other lab concerns following established protocols.
Ensure precise data entry and maintain specimen integrity throughout the testing process.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment; perform quality control and routine maintenance.
Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and lab team members.
Follow all safety, compliance, and confidentiality standards.
Support training and onboarding of new team members and students.
Medical Lab Technician:
Minimum 1year's experience in a hospital laboratory preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory information systems preferred.
