Activities Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate a variety of recreational and social activities tailored to the interests and needs of residents or clients

- Assist in developing activity schedules and programs that promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation

- Support residents or clients in participating in activities, providing encouragement and assistance as needed

- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment during activities

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments to improve engagement

- Collaborate with team members and family members to ensure activities align with individual preferences and care plans

- Keep accurate records of activities and participation

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in recreational therapy or related fields is a plus

- Previous experience in activity planning, recreation, or a related role preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Creativity and enthusiasm for organizing engaging activities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of diverse populations

- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and ability to handle emergency situations

- Ability to safely transport residents to appointments using the company vehicles
