Job Description

Supply Chain Analyst Intern

Location: Houston

We’re looking for a motivated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst Intern to support supply chain operations through data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. This internship offers hands-on experience in supply chain analytics, inventory management, logistics, procurement, and operational planning within a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you’ll work closely with supply chain and business leaders to identify trends, improve efficiencies, and support strategic initiatives while gaining valuable real-world experience in supply chain operations and analytics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain, inventory, logistics, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Support the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Compile, validate, and interpret data from multiple systems and spreadsheets
  • Assist with inventory analysis, forecasting, and demand planning activities
  • Support procurement and logistics teams with tracking purchase orders, shipments, and supplier performance
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementation efforts
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, customer service, and supply chain teams on projects and initiatives
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and operational reports for leadership review
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data used for reporting and analysis
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Logistics, Operations, Finance, or a related field
  • Junior or Senior standing preferred
  • Previous internship, analytical, logistics, or operational experience preferred but not required
  • Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in supply chain operations and analytics
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret data and identify trends or operational gaps
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools is a plus
