QualDerm Partners is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Monroe, NC. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and detailed medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and dermatologic procedures by providing necessary support and equipment.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and manage specimen collection and handling.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Schedule patient appointments and facilitate efficient communication within the practice.
  • Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and effective skincare routines.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with appropriate medical supplies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and common office software applications is an advantage.
