Responsible for moving product racks, unloading items onto conveyors, and packing finished products into boxes. Includes maintaining cleanliness by sanitizing conveyor and product contact areas.

Qualifications

You have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing/pulling racks up to 100+ lbs and packing boxes up to 70 lbs. You can maintain a good pace on a production line, possess good hand-eye coordination, and work well within a team atmosphere while adhering to all safety expectations.

Job Description

  1. Push/ Pull full racks that are 100+ lbs into position for unloading product onto conveyors
  2. Remove product from racks onto conveyors to be prepped for bagging
  3. Removing product from vats on occasion located on the floor and placing them onto conveyors
  4. Use knife or safety knife for trimming clips and opening netting for removal
  5. Put the product into boxes and close the box with either a four corner fold, tape gun, or using an inline taping unit
  6. Housekeeping Duties: Packers 1 are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing conveyor and product contact areas before and after changing product. They do not clean or touch objects on the floor.
  7.  Marginal Duties: Monitor status and quality of products.  

    Job Requirements:
    - Problem Solving.
    - Pack boxes up to 70 Lbs.
    - Work well in a team atmosphere.
    - Must keep pace on production line and learn Quality expectations.
    - Must follow all safety expectations.
    - Good attendance.
    - Good hand/eye coordination.
    - Repetitive montion, lifting and pulling.
