Job DetailsJob Location: Enid-Willow - Enid, OK 73703Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High School / GEDTravel Percentage: NegligibleJob Shift: DayJob Category: BankingThe Relationship Banker I is responsible for creating key relationships with Bank customers and prospective customers, and for providing a range of banking services to individual customers with an emphasis on personal finances, lending, and customer service.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates passion by building and sharing knowledge of all retail bank products, services and specialty product lines.
Listens to and understands customers’ needs in order to make appropriate recommendations, and engage with customers to present and cross sell products and solutions based on their financial needs.
Takes responsibility of all functions related to opening and closing accounts, including assisting customers with the appropriate selection of accounts, performing research of customer accounts, and complying with BSA and CIP requirements.
Advises customers in order to select appropriate consumer loan products. Maintains knowledge of loan policies and procedures, take applications and key into centralized loan system for underwriting, communicate decision to customer, and close and fund consumer loans.
Collaborates with other associates and lines of business to make referrals in order to meet and/or exceed designated individual and branch goals.
Maintains knowledge of all aspects of the teller line including processing transactions, balancing cash drawers, Teller Cash Recyclers (TCR) and vault, and basic branch operations functions.
Adheres to all company compliance and guidelines. Is knowledgeable of procedures and processes affecting the Relationship Banker position. Complies with all security and operations procedures, including but not limited to, maintaining dual control functions, and records administration, including completing various logs and reports.
Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
1-2 years’ experience in customer service role, preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or government regulations.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Ability to maintain simple written correspondence.
