Job Description

Cleans, distributes stocks and does routine maintenance for the food & beverage department.

DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: None

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Checks and empties all trash left in food service facility.
  • Mop, sweep and clean all concession and bar areas, and other assigned areas.
  • Fills as ice bins at each concession and bar area.
  • Distributes product to all concession and bar areas as instructed.
  • Receives and stores all deliveries through the wine room and commissary.
  • Turns on draft beer system daily.
  • Cleans and does routine maintenance of all equipment.
  • Will abide by all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments and/or job functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SOCIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude. Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY: 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

Must be able to obtain and maintain a non-gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission and the Indiana Horse Racing Commission.
