As a Patient Care Specialist II at our Martinsville, Indiana location, you play a direct role in supporting patient safety, structure, and long‑term recovery. In this role, you will partner closely with the Patient Care Manager and Executive Director to help establish and maintain a therapeutic, recovery‑focused environment for residents.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license in good standing
CPR and First Aid certification
Associate degree preferred

Responsibilities

Check in with the Patient Care Manager at the start of each shift to receive resident updates and assignments
Supervise resident care during assigned AM and PM shifts
Supervise patient medications, document all incoming medications, and coordinate with nursing and medical providers regarding medication compliance
Maintain resident schedules throughout the shift
Observe and ensure adherence to house rules and program expectations
Monitor resident chores and work projects
Facilitate didactic groups and assist with recreational activities that promote comfort, safety, and recovery
Model appropriate behavior and reinforce a structured, therapeutic environment
Perform other duties as assigned
