Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse 

UNION: 1199

Shift: Monday-Friday 

            9am-5pm

            Alternating Saturdays

Duties will include:

  • Assisting the physician in treatments and procedures
  • Monitoring of patient's vital signs, patient intake and output, and recording patient history
  • Reports data relating to patient's health status to the appropriate clinical staff
  • Identifies patient goals, communicates, and collaborates with clinical team to support patient care plan
  • Administration of medication, injections, and functions in the scope of the license
  • Cleaning of equipment in patient care areas
  • Maintain patient care rooms to ensure they are kept clean, and supplies are well stocked.
  • Maintain records of patient activities and observations
  • Submit records to the appropriate clinical staff regarding patient's condition
  • Assist with scheduling patients, authorizations and referrals to support office staff as needed
  • Cross-cover multiple practices as needed
  • Rooming patients
  • Overseeing patient flow

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
