Job Description

Acadian Ambulance is seeking a motivated, highly organized individual for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Regional Vice President in SE Texas. The selected candidate will also provide administrative support to the Operations Manager. This role requires a high level of attention to detail.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and the position will be located in Beaumont, TX.

  1. Generate reports for supervisory personnel.
  2. Answer phones.
  3. Take minutes of meetings.
  4. Compose correspondence.
  5. Prepare booklets, binders, etc. for conferences, staff meetings.
  6. Schedule standbys for units, appointments, meetings, etc.
  7. Data entry.
  8. Assist medics with obtaining proper signatures.
  9. Research billing history.
  10. Assist with data entry regarding credentials.
  11. Submission of Ordinances.
  12. Assists in finding extra crews when needed.
  13. Run errands for company.
  14. Handle tours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.  
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office.
  3. Ability to compose correspondence.

  1. Maintain social, ethical and organizational norms.
  2. Maintain good personal motivation; develop a sense of ownership of job tasks and results.
  3. Must have a sense of urgency for all work performed.
  4. Ability to work under the pressure of meeting strict deadlines.
