Qualifications

Job Description
In the operating room, timeliness, cleanliness, and orderliness are essential. This opportunity is located at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland, a facility known for its exceptional specialty programs and clinical excellence. Legacy Good Samaritan is home to nationally recognized physicians in cancer care, kidney transplantation, neurology, ophthalmology, weight-loss and robotic surgery, rehabilitation, and more. It also features Oregon’s only 24-hour urgent care located alongside an emergency room, providing patients with direct access to emergency services when needed.
Support nursing staff as part of the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Transport blood, specimens, and other materials within Surgical Services.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness in operating rooms and surrounding areas.
Stock supplies and maintain overall orderliness of assigned department spaces.
Assist with patient transportation as needed.
Complete additional errands and support tasks as assigned to facilitate smooth departmental operations.
