Job Description

Seneca Foods Corporation of Montgomery, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, is currently seeking an Agricultural Intern to join its team for the 2026 summer production season. 

This internship is geared toward current/recent undergraduate students and will provide hands-on industry experience working with the Agriculture Department during the busy production season. Internships typically run from late May through August but are flexible with school schedules.

Responsibilities:

- Exposure to crop management, weed control, and record keeping.
- Procurement of raw product from a grower base to meet plant production goals.
- Look for opportunities to reduce costs and enhance overall operations. Study procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist Field Representative with day-to-day management of field operations.
- Communicate with land owners, growers, equipment dealers, and material suppliers.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness and ability to function in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Current or recent undergraduate student status.
- Majors in Ag Business, Farm Management, or a related field are preferred.

Staring wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience at $18.00 per hour.
