Job Description

Kryger Glass currently has an open position for an Auto Glass Technician; Experienced or Trainee, within our Sioux City market.  Position includes installation and repair of auto glass.

If you have no experience but would be interested in learning a skilled trade, we are willing to train!

This is a full time hourly position that will include a benefits package and vacation.  Hours would be M-F, 8 am - 5 pm.  Pay is based and is based on experience level; $ 17.00 - $ 25.00 / hour.

Kryger Glass is an auto glass installation & distribution company with locations in five states.  We are large enough to provide great employee benefits and small enough to know your name!

Essential duties & responsibilities include:

  • Auto Glass repair & replacement; in-shop
  • Assist with distribution duties
  • Mechanical vehicle repairs relating to auto glass
  • Provide Customer Service and support to other glass technicians.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Qualifies include:

  • Must hold and sustain a valid drivers license and be insurable by company standards
  • Must be able to pass criminal background screening by company standards and applicable law
  • Must regularly lift and/or move in an outreached position up to 80 pounds

Kryger Glass Company was started in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1947 by my grandfather, Walter Kryger. We started out as a very small retail shop. My grandpa did it all. My dad started helping out in the shop during his high school years, and joined the company full time in 1957. In the 80s, our family tradition continued as my brother and I joined the company.
