Kimberton Whole Foods in Eagleview is seeking a dedicated individual to join our crew as a full-time Produce Team Member! 

Availability: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. One weekend shift is required each week.  

Schedule: 

  • Sundays 7am-3:30pm
  • Mondays 12pm-8:30pm
  • Tuesdays 7am-3:30pm
  • Wednesday 7am-3:30pm
  • Thursdays 7am-3:30pm 

Hourly Pay: $15.00 - $17.00

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

The Produce Team Member’s Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all.
  • Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items. Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
  • Follows the established KWF merchandising practices for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
  • Working in collaboration with the Produce Department Lead to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage
  • Understands KWF inventory management practices.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager

Requirements

Physical Capabilities: 

  • Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. 
  • Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. 
  • Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. 
  • Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
  • Standing- prolonged standing. 
  • Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). 
  • Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
