Position Summary

We are seeking a Trailer & Rolling Stock Technician to support our manufacturing operation through inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of company‑owned trailers and rolling stock. This role is ideal for a safety‑focused, self‑motivated technician who enjoys hands‑on work in a fast‑paced. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair company trailer and rolling stock equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance and annual inspections to ensure DOT compliance
  • Complete minor to major repairs, including brakes, suspension, ABS, body work, and rebuilds
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with OSHA and company standards
  • Perform additional maintenance duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of mechanical or trailer repair experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work on heavy equipment, including welding and fabrication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong safety awareness and work ethic
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and perform physical work in varying weather conditions

Preferred Certifications

  • Welding Certification
  • CDL Class A
  • DOT Certification

Physical & Work Environment

  • Regular standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
