Job Description

Location: [Houston, Texas 77079] (REQUIRED – Remote Opportunity but must be able to travel into Houston, Texas 77079 for training and meetings on occasion. Must live within driving distance of this location in order to move forward in the interviewing process.)

Compensation: Hourly + Accepted Sales Commissions

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain regular and professional interaction with existing customers, new prospects and recently cancelled/dropped customers
• Contact customers who have dropped/cancelled services with us to ‘win-back’ by enrolling into a new product term
• Contact customers whose enrollments were rejected either by the utility or internal systems to re-enroll successfully
• Handle inbound call volume driven by marketing efforts
• Assist customers with renewing into a new product to maintain their business
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a weekly and monthly basis, & contribute positively to team targets
• Build company value & customer confidence; Offer professional suggestions and sound opinions based on trained product and industry knowledge
• Exercise patience and empathy; ability to de-escalate customer concerns
• Maintain high sales quality/compliance scores
• Work with management team to promote collaborative solution-oriented relationships with new and existing customers
• Provide feedback to management team regarding competitor offers as relayed through customer interactions
• Responsible for attending all scheduled in-person or remote trainings
• Responsible to complete all mandatory online trainings in a timely manner
• Demonstrate accountability for improvement on coached areas, & being receptive of constructive feedback
• Assist a customer from start to completion of the sales process, following regulatory and quality guidelines, researching/obtaining pertinent customer information, and preparing the customer for a successful enrollment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, active listening, and problem-resolution skills
• Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Reliable transportation-Punctuality and regular meeting attendance are required
• Previous experience in energy sales preferred, but not required
• Strong customer focus and proven ability to build rapport by anticipating customer needs and providing solutions to their problems
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to multitask, toggling through multiple systems and windows while assisting customers
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
