HB NEXT is seeking a dependable and motivated Utility Field Technician for a temporary assignment supporting utility and field operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, traveling to job sites, and being part of a team that helps keep projects running safely and efficiently. 

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of electrical meters and yard lights to identify hazards and signs of tampering.
• Walk for extended periods as required by daily inspection duties.
• Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Develop the ability to safely work with low-voltage electricity on HVAC units.
• Document any potential deficiencies for review and follow-up.
• Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and appropriate work clothing.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
