JOB SUMMARY

Prince Industries in Batavia, IL is looking for a Grinding / Deburring Operator to join our team. This position is on first shift and the hours are 5:45am - 2:15pm, Monday - Friday with opportunity for OT.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grinding parts
• Orbit sanding parts
• Deburring parts
• Washing parts
• Cleaning parts
• Cleaning work area
• Moving pallets
• Organizing work stations
• Practicing safe work

QUALIFICATION AND PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 1-3 years of industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Regularly required to stand, and reach the duration of shift, 8-10 hours.
• Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
• Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work.
• Regularly lift, push or pull up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles resulting from metalworking coolants and oils.
• The noise level in the work environment is generally loud in which hearing protection is required.
• Must wear steel toe boots.
• Prince will provide all PPE required for position.
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
