Job Description

Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a Residential Assistant to join their Youth Residential team! Swing Shift, 4pm-12am, Saturday-Wednesday. 

The Residential Assistant position provides the bulk of the direct individual supervision and day-to-day care. The primary objective is the maintenance of a safe environment for the individuals and staff.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 21+ and possess a valid driver's license

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide transportation to authorized functions.
  • Enforce residence schedule and rules as well as chart and log activities and events that occur while on duty.
  • Provide minimum emergency intervention as appropriate.
  • Act as receptionist and provide information to residents and outside callers.
  • Monitor and chart medications; monitor supplies and recommend requisition of same.
  • Adhere to schedule as written and attend all required meetings.
  • Supervise family visits and recreational activities.
  • Provide a stable environment for adolescents who suffer with mental health and chemical dependency issues and assure safety and appropriate behavior.
  • Assist individuals with therapeutic assignments.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required by clinical staff.
