We are looking for dependable and detail-oriented team members to join our Tray Pack Department. In this role, you will help prepare and package chicken products by styling, sorting, wiping trays, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. This position is essential in helping fulfill customer orders while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tray Pack Production Associate, your responsibilities may include:

Sorting & Styling

• Place chicken products into trays on a conveyor belt according to company specifications
• Ensure proper orientation, quantity, and placement of products in trays
• Inspect products and remove or downgrade defective items, placing them into designated re-work trays
• Monitor for any foreign material and immediately notify a lead or supervisor if found
• Follow quality assurance (QA) guidelines and stop using affected product/trays when necessary

Tray Wiping & Quality Control

• Use assigned paper towels to wipe tray edges to ensure seals are clean and free of contamination or excess liquid
• Help maintain product quality and packaging standards

General Responsibilities

• Support department goals to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Take a proactive role in identifying and reporting safety or quality concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
• No formal education required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Language Skills

• Ability to speak English and/or Spanish
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, instructions, and procedures
• Ability to complete routine reports and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
