Job Description

We’re looking for extraordinary people to join our growing team in Wauwatosa, WI. What You'll Do:

  • Produce finish details on sand castings
  • Clean parts according to OMS/process sheets and meet the quality standards for that part using correct hand tools, saws and/or grinds to ensure that castings meet quality standards required by customer
  • Use measuring devices, as required
  • Check if castings conform to quality standards
  • Inspect before and after cleaning for visual defects
  • Inspect castings after bench clean to verify work was done according to process
  • Document defects requiring weld on traveler reject log
  • Use boroscope and other such devices to assist in visual inspection
  • Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned

What We Need from You:

  • High School diploma or GED; experience in a foundry or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy. Must be able to accurately and correctly use calipers and other calibrated measuring instruments (applies to Bench only).
  • Must wear protective safety equipment including:
  • steel toed shoes with metarsal guard
  • safety eyewear
  • hearing protection
  • goggles, face shield and special gloves, when necessary
