Your Day-to-Day

In this role, you will:

Room patients, collect vital signs, and update medical records
Assist providers with exams, procedures, and follow-up care
Educate patients on tests, treatments, and healthy practices
Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, safe environment
Process labs, paperwork, and electronic messages accurately
Collaborate with care teams and support quality improvement initiatives

What Makes You a Great Fit

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Completion of a Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing program
Certification or registration preferred: CMA, RMA, or LPN
Prior MA experience a plus, but not required
BLS certification (required or ability to obtain)

The Center for Family Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in downtown Jackson, Michigan. We provide top-notch primary care services, including Family Medicine and Pediatrics. In addition, we provide Dental, Behavioral Health, and supportive services including Pharmacy, Case Management, Nutrition Counseling, Transportation, Interpretation, and Enrollment Services. Our physicians and midlevel providers have extensive training and experience in patient care.
