Qualifications
You are a KY licensed pharmacist (or eligible for licensure) and a graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. You will actively participate in the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program, focusing on medication use management, patient-centered care, and evidence-based practice. You will also develop leadership, project management, and teaching skills throughout the program.

Job Description
Under the general direction of the Pharmacy Residency Program Director (RPD) is responsible for active learning and participation in assigned duties of the Post graduate year 1 Pharmacy Residency Program (PGY1). Manage and improve the Medication use process. Provide evidence based, patient centered Medication Therapy Management with multidisciplinary teams. Exercise leadership and practice management skills. Demonstrate Project management skills. Provide medication and practice related education/training. Utilize medical informatics. Provides distributive and Clinical Pharmacy functions when providing service component as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist. Develops supervisory and leadership skills. Recruits new Residents and promotes program at regional, state and national venues. Precepts and evaluates Pharmacy Interns, Students or Technician Students in their respective roles. Provides desire and aptitude for teaching clinical problem solving via 4 roles -instructing, modeling, coaching, facilitating. Remains actively engaged in clinical practice and demonstrates commitment to life long learning. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).

QualificationsThe Resident will be a KY Licensed Pharmacist (or eligible for KY Licensure within 60 days from Residency year). Must be a graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with sufficient educational training to practice in a hospital Pharmacy.
