Utz is pleased to announce an opportunity for a student to join the team this summer as an Automation/Controls Intern in Hanover, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with projects from concept to factory deployment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics
• Learn how sensors and actuators interact with PLC systems
• Support troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on process improvements
• Assist with equipment testing and system implementation

Job Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in a related technical field
• Interest in PLCs, automation, and manufacturing operations
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills
