RESUMEN DE LA POSICIÓN:

La Colonia Medical Center está buscando un Coordinador de Farmacias para administrar la distribución de medicamentos recetados y otros productos de atención médica a los pacientes. El Coordinador de Farmacia ayuda a la Farmacia a garantizar la seguridad de los medicamentos recetados.

DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES:

Las responsabilidades incluyen, pero no se limitan a:

• Adherirse al proceso de medicamentos de venta libre (over the counter) asegurándose de que cumple con los protocolos establecidos para cada paciente y evitando que el medicamento sea rechazado.
• Verificar la información de los miembros y los datos de entrada para el procesamiento de medicamentos.
• Procesar las solicitudes de autorización previa de los médicos y garantizar el cumplimiento de los requisitos de Medicare.
• Asegurar la satisfacción del paciente, mantener relaciones de trabajo con los médicos y otros profesionales de la salud.
• Responder a las preguntas de las pacientes relacionadas con el formulario y los beneficios de medicamentos recetados.
• Cumplir con todos los requisitos de mantenimiento de registros para sustancias controladas.
• Procesar las recetas de STAT de manera adecuada y eficiente.
• Realizar otras tareas que le sean asignadas.

CALIFICACIONES:

• Diploma de secundaria o certificado equivalente.
• Al menos una experiencia de un año de experiencia relacionada.
• Debe poder trabajar con computadoras y tener un conocimiento profundo de Microsoft Office.
• Destacadas habilidades comunicativas - verbales y escritas.
• Debe ser fluido en inglés/español hablado y escrito.
• Excelente comunicación verbal e interpersonal para brindar una experiencia agradable al paciente.

Requirements

POSITION SUMMARY:

La Colonia Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Coordinator to assist in the distribution of prescription drugs and other health care products to patients. The Pharmacy Coordinator assists the Pharmacy to ensure the security of prescription drugs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Adhere to the process of OTC medicines (Over the Counter) making sure that it complies with the protocols established for each patient and avoiding the medication being rejected.
• Verify member information and inputs data for the processing of medication.
• Process prior authorization requests from physicians and ensure compliance with Medicare requirements.
• Ensure patient satisfaction, maintain working relationships with physicians and other health care professionals.
• Respond to inquiries from patients related to prescription delivery status.
• Comply with all record keeping requirements for controlled substances.
• Process STAT prescriptions adequately and efficiently.
• Daily review of refill requests following proper procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate.
• At least one of year experience of related experience.
• Must be able to work with computers and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Outstanding communication skills - verbal and written.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English/Spanish.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication to deliver a pleasant patient experience.
