Precision Deburring Technician

Positions available with High Tech growing company located in Berrien County, MI. We are a highly reputable precision manufacturing company with positions available for the right individuals. This is a very detailed oriented position and requires good vision and hand-eye dexterity. Successful Precision Deburring Technicians, within our organization, accurately and efficiently remove burrs and surface flaws from precision products working with microscopes and various hand deburring tools. Technicians will show the ability to learn and then execute multiple step deburring procedures efficiently on a high quantity of parts without errors. Have a good eye for flaws or inconsistencies on parts in order to sort them out for rework or scrap. Read blueprints and/or work instructions for procedures and complete inspection sheets for verification of process. All successful employees in our organization work together in a team environment, learn from mistakes, and are well organized including keeping production areas clean.

Position Requirements:

• Detailed oriented and good hand-eye coordination

• Excellent at small detailed work

• Minimum Educational Requirement: HS or GED; Microsoft Office training a plus
 • Good communication/interpersonal skills
 • Must be self-motivated, have willingness to learn and demonstrate a strong work ethic

Employment Requirements:

• Successful completion of visual and dexterity tests

• Basic mechanical aptitude test
 • Drug Testing
 • Successful completion of 3 month probationary period.
 • Above average rating on peer/management performance review after probationary period.
