Automotive Reconditioning Technician – High Earning Potential

Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is hiring a Reconditioning Technician to support our pre-owned vehicle operation.

This is a flat-rate production role focused on preparing used vehicles for sale in a high-volume dealership environment.

What You Will Do

• Inspect and recondition incoming pre-owned vehicles 
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and drivability repairs 
• Complete required recon work efficiently and accurately 
• Identify needed repairs and document findings 
• Prepare vehicles for front-line retail readiness 

  What You Will Receive

• $66,000 – $150,000 annual earning potential (flat rate) 
• Consistent workflow of pre-owned vehicles

  What We’re Looking For

• Flat-rate technician experience preferred 
• Automotive repair or dealership shop experience 
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills 
• Ability to work efficiently in a production environment 
• Team-oriented mindset

Requirements

• 1 year of automotive experience. 
• ASE certifications are ideal. 
• Strong automotive background 
• Strong teamwork skills 
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written. 
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.  
• Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
