Position Overview:

The full-time Financial Analytics Intern role supporting the Chairman of the Board combines executive support with specialized financial and analytical functions.  This position requires strong financial acumen, advanced Excel skills, and an ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.  

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely and effectively with the Chairman of the Board. 
  • Prepare accurate sales reports for all store locations. 
  • Create and maintain complex financial reports and spreadsheets.
  • Analyze and address questions/issues that arise during the data analysis process.
  • Communicate complex financial information and results clearly and effectively. 
  • Assist with invoices and expense reporting.  
  • Support the management of store lease information and related data. 
  • Interact professionally with internal and external executives.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and communications. 
  • Complete additional projects and duties as assigned by the Chairman of the Board. 

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements: 

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics or Mathematics, or related field. 

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an aptitude for working with numbers. 

· Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis. 

· Advance Excel skills with the ability to manage data and generate meaningful reports. 

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and professional. 

· Exceptional judgement and discretion with highly confidential information. 

  • Excellent written and      verbal communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Friendly, outgoing and professional demeanor with a positive, can-do attitude. 
  • Strong listening skills. 
  • Demonstrated drive, perseverance, and ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines. 
  • Natural curiosity and desire to understand all aspects of the business.
