What You'll Do: This is a role within the Entertainment Department, performing the specialty theater stage show, currently THE INSANELY MYSTERIOUS SORSORO. Applicants should be comfortable with improvisation, theatrical movement, dancing (natural rhythm) and audience interactions. These performers should be able to convey emotion and storytelling through their eyes and body language to curate unique and charismatic guest experiences.    Qualifications: 
  • Physical movement training and/or experience in dance, clowning, or costumed character performance  
  • Ability to interact and engage with guests of all ages and an understanding of matching tone and content ratings  
  • A sense of humor, body awareness, and the ability to consistently stay in character 
  • Must perform shows on time and be in place for all cues.   
  • Flexible availability including daytime, evenings, weekends and major holidays. Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Work effectively with supervisors, peers and guests. 
  • Ability to adhere to a professional appearance. 
  • Ability to work positively and cooperatively in a diverse team environment to meet overall established timeframes. 
  • Ability to communicate tactfully with department heads, coworkers, and other employees to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions. 
  • Fluent in English, Spanish a bonus.
Responsibilities: 
  • Attend all shifts, rehearsals and meetings as scheduled 
  • Participate in group warm-ups, skill building activities 
  • Take direction and feedback from Directors, Managers and Leads. 
  • Treat all costumes, props and set pieces with respect and care. 
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and discipline. 
  • Abide by all Policies and Procedures. 
  • Communicate any conflicts, changes or work-related issues to managers quickly and efficiently. 
  • Complete all assigned or necessary pre and post shift duties.
Physical Requirements: 
  • Must be able to speak, read, and hear/understand English fluently. Spanish would be a bonus. 
  • Frequent walking, standing, and moving between tight spaces. 
  • Capable of walking and standing on feet for 8-10 hours a day. 
  • Capable of walking extended distances. 
  • Able to walk both up inclines and down declines multiple times in a shift. 
  • Able to walk up and down stairs multiple times in a shift. 
  • Must be able to pivot on feet to move around groups of people. 
  • Must be able to move from seated to standing and standing to seated positions without assistance. 
  • Capable of kneeling, lifting and stooping multiple times in a shift.
