Marketing Intern

VSP Technologies is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support our team. This internship provides hands-on experience across a variety of impactful marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on product photography, graphic design, and visual content creation.

Essential Functions

• Photograph industrial products for use on the company website, brochures, and digital campaigns
• Organize and maintain a structured digital library of product images
• Assist in staging, lighting, editing, and optimizing images for multiple platforms
• Assist in redesigning and modernizing brochures, product sheets, flyers, banners, and sales presentations
• Create graphics for social media, email campaigns, and landing pages
• Support development of branded templates to ensure visual consistency
• Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain brand standards across all materials
• Assist with development of social media content calendars
• Create graphics and draft posts for organic and paid campaigns
• Support campaign execution and basic performance tracking
• Maintain consistency in messaging and visual identity
• Assist in drafting articles, press releases, and case studies for industrial publications
• Support updates to website content using WordPress
• Assist in coordination of tradeshows, and industry events
• Help create promotional materials for events
• Provide administrative support for marketing projects and timelines
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project completion

Experience / Education

• Pursuing or recently completed coursework in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Photography, or a related field
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign preferred)
• Basic photography knowledge (lighting, composition, editing)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms such as SharePoint
• Experience with email marketing tools
• Basic understanding of industrial or manufacturing environments
